Krystle Monahan brings a dynamic blend of creative vision, design expertise, and strategic retail leadership to the Bryant & Co. Foundation board. With a strong background in retail management, buying, visual merchandising, and account management, she has developed a deep understanding of consumer engagement, brand storytelling, and operational strategy.

With a passion for design and experience-driven environments, Krystle has spent her career creating thoughtful, visually compelling spaces that connect people to products, ideas, and purpose. Her creative perspective allows her to approach initiatives with innovation, translating complex ideas into accessible, engaging experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Krystle also brings a strong commitment to fostering meaningful connections between people, place, and purpose. Her work aligns with efforts to promote land stewardship, expand access to fresh, healthy food, and cultivate inclusive, community-centered spaces.

James D. Davis

James Davis

Media Lead

James Davis, MPA, is a San Francisco native, Eagle Scout, and USAF Veteran with a lifelong commitment to service. Recently appointed as the Veteran Representative on the Homeless Services Oversight Council (HSOC), James draws on a diverse military background with specialized training in Administration, Personnel, Medical Services, and Graphics Arts.

His professional career is defined by impactful leadership, from launching a Central Coast Foster Family Agency to founding an international orphanage. In the arts, James has served as Executive Director for Symphony of the Vines and General Manager for the SLO Master Chorale, alongside directing & producing the Morro Bay Harbor Festival.

Today, James owns SLO TALK Podcasting Studio, producing for global brands like Ford and BBC 4. Based in Atascadero, he is a dedicated husband and grandfather who leverages his military discipline and creative expertise to strengthen his community.

Shalom Taylor

Shalom Taylor

Treasurer

Shalom Taylor serves as Treasurer and a trusted steward of the organization's financial and operational systems. She previously owned and operated a home improvement company, where she managed business finances, budgeting, and day-to-day operations, building strong and practical financial leadership skills.

In addition to her entrepreneurship, Shalom served as a civilian contractor for the United States Army for eight years, specializing in logistics and procurement. Her experience in managing complex supply chains and ensuring operational efficiency is a vital asset to the Foundation’s mission of community development and resource management.

With a background in systems administration and a focus on operational excellence, Shalom helps ensure that the Foundation’s resources are managed with clarity, accountability, and financial integrity.

Wendee Picou

Wendee Picou

Marketing and Membership Lead

Wendee Picou brings over a decade of cross-industry experience in creative strategy, brand building, and operational leadership. Her journey began in the music industry, where she worked in creative marketing and promotions with Universal Music Group, shaping her expertise in brand storytelling and audience connection.

Most recently, Wendee served as Chief of Staff in the financial services sector, where she specialized in streamlining complex operations, driving strategic growth, and fostering collaborative team environments. Her ability to align vision with execution makes her a key leader in the Foundation’s marketing and media initiatives.

Passionate about the intersection of community, land, and education, Wendee is dedicated to building regenerative, community-driven models that integrate food systems and land stewardship. Her focus is on creating sustainable impact through thoughtful branding and strategic operational design.
