Real Estate, Land & Equine ProgramsChandra is a business development professional, real estate strategist, and lifelong equestrian whose experience spans metropolitan and agricultural communities. After living and working in New York City and later establishing roots in Indiana, she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between land, community, and economic opportunity. She owns and operates a horse farm, is actively involved in the equine industry, and brings a perspective on sustainable agriculture, horsemanship, and responsible land stewardship that is rare and genuinely irreplaceable. Here, she helps design land- and horse-based learning experiences, real estate education, and community-rooted opportunities for the next generation.
Krystle Monahan
SecretaryKrystle brings creative vision, design expertise, and strategic retail leadership to the board. With a background spanning retail management, buying, visual merchandising, and account management, she has spent her career building thoughtful, experience-driven environments that connect people to purpose. Her ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, accessible experiences is exactly what this organization needs as we grow.
James Davis
Media LeadJames is a San Francisco native, Eagle Scout, USAF Veteran, and the owner of SLO TALK Podcasting Studio, producing content for global brands including Ford and BBC 4. He holds an MPA, has served as Executive Director of Symphony of the Vines and General Manager of the SLO Master Chorale, and was recently appointed as the Veteran Representative on the Homeless Services Oversight Council. He has launched a Central Coast Foster Family Agency and founded an international orphanage. James brings discipline, creativity, and an extraordinary record of service to this team.
Shalom Taylor
TreasurerShalom previously owned and operated a home improvement company and spent eight years as a civilian contractor for the United States Army specializing in logistics and procurement. She knows how to move projects from idea to completion, make budgets work in the real world, and keep complex operations running smoothly. Her background in systems administration and her commitment to transparency and accountability mean the organization’s resources are managed with both discipline and care.
Wendee Picou
Marketing and Membership LeadMarketing & Membership Lead Wendee brings over a decade of experience in creative strategy, brand building, and operational leadership. She got her start in creative marketing and promotions at Universal Music Group, then most recently served as Chief of Staff in the financial services sector.
Her ability to align vision with execution and her genuine passion for regenerative, community-driven models makes her a cornerstone of how Bryant and Co. Foundation tells its story to the world.
